Mission title: Development Engineer
Main mission description:
- Support FORD program (BtP scenario);
- Ensure Product & Process feasibility according to customer requirements and FIS standards;
- Define BOP specifications/Ensure consistency between BOP specifications and suppliers commitments/Formalize Purchase Requests for BOP tools kick off and modifications;
- Lead system geometrical conformity assessment (including get the measurements through geometry center);
- Ensure product robustness and tuning;
- Follow SLI/action plan for all open items and geometrical issues of the product;
- Create and document product improvement ECR;
- Track Engineering changes, define validation plan (if applicable) and timing follow up;
- Update key deliverables in the system (EBOM
- KC
- FMEA, Cad concept definition…);
- Define engineering levels to be used by (Pilot) Plant during launch;
- Support PPDR and contribute to achievement of Faurecia Engineering Milestones as well as Customer Program Milestones;
- Ensure lessons learned for the project;
- Create technical report/VA/VE/patent proposal/improvement ideas;
- Define technical solutions and CAD data (2D & 3D) for concept design (typical sections), prototype design, serial design specification, function drawings, RPS, tolerance stack book, GD&T (including KC for internal and customer needs) based on Faurecia product standards and guidelines, customer constraints and specifications, and applicable regulations and legislation;
- Ensure process feasibility of the product design and A-Surfaces (with T&E team if needed);
- Ensure overall product “Design for Performance”; (including implementation into CAD of inputs with regard to results of simulation, tests and validation to meet performance criteria);
- Support the KPC identification, valorization, and formalization.
Main characteristics required for the mission:
- Interior plastic parts design and processes knowledge (DP system preferred)
- High English level
