ABBOTT BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY SERVICES AT CHERRYWOOD

Abbott Information Technology (IT) is responsible for delivering Information technology solutions and services to over 130+ countries globally. 

To support this global footprint, Abbott IT is building a new team in Ireland located in Cherrywood, Dublin. The newly established hub will be a strategic location

for technology talent, delivering regional programs and supporting global operations for critical services.

EPD has established an Analytics Center of Excellence which will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of an Enterprise Analytics solution servicing over 20 countries across EPD functional areas.

Primary Job Function:

· 
Support the Enterprise Analytics solution by ensuring an architecture that supports a scalable analytics platform and advanced visualization capabilities including flexible enterprise data model.

· 
Support EPD functions in the definition and implementation of information needs to enable business strategies by working directly with business stakeholders (across functional areas)

· 
Develop business and technology initiatives to deliver analytics’ expected benefits and capabilities

· 
Ensure integrity, scalability and transportability of implemented solutions

· 
Support Master Data Governance, including Master Data Management activities through architecture design and data flows

· 
Member of the Enterprise Analytics solution governance board

Core Job Responsibilities:

· 
Understand EPD information needs in the context of business strategies and priorities

· 
Facilitate business workshops to define, design, and document analytics needs

· 
Translate analytics needs into functional specifications and architectural designs that include: data definitions, data model, data flows, standardized business KPI calculations, aggregation and disaggregation logics.

· 
Anticipate future analytics needs in solution designs and reference architecture

· 
Drive to high utilization of analytics capabilities to eliminate paper-based analysis  

· 
Ensure accurate and up-to-date project and solution life cycle documentation

· 
Select appropriated technology components to realize solution designs

· 
Plan, set up and execute business and technology initiatives to fulfil analytics needs

Education and Experience Required:

· 
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar

· 
Minimum four years of hands on experience architecting end to end enterprise and advance analytics solutions in medium to large industries

· 
Minimum of three full cycles of global analytics initiatives

· 
Ideally certified in one SAP functional module

· 
Ideally one end-to-end ERP SAP implementation cycle

· 
At least one year of experience managing large global program / project teams

· 
Experience i n SQL and one of the following databases: Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, PostgreSQL

· 
Ideally experience in utilization and development in SAP FIORI

· 
Extensive experience in working in AWS environment (S3, Athena, Glue, Redshift)

· 
Extensive experience with BI tools (Power Bi, Tableau, Qlik etc)

· 
Experience with ETL and DWH/ BI projects

· 
Fluent in English (written and verbal)

· 
Knowledge and experience with Informatica technology (Informatica IDQ, MDM, PowerCenter, IICS)

· 
Strong communication and facilitations skills with the ability to communicate at all business levels and lead requirement definition workshops
