Job Description:

The Procurement Specialist for AATC is responsible for general procurement activities in AATC across all departments and also contributes to AATC general (indirect) procurement synergies and strategies. He/she ensures compliance with the procurement process.

· 
Define and develop AATC procurement process and manuals, and share rules to the internal customers to ensure AATC maintain adequate levels of control and compliant execution of procurement activities. 

· 
Act as focal point for local sourcing activities, all request for quotations in a fair competition mode and according to AATC Procurement processes.  

· 
Creates, modifies and display purchase orders

· 
Raise new vendor approval and validation with Supplier Master Data Administrator (SMDA) team in Airbus Central for creation of vendor account in SAP

· 
Manage call for tenders according to AATC procurement process, negotiating the offers including terms and conditions, drafting and negotiating the contracts, and management of the supplier contracts.

· 
Ensure deliverables (goods/services) are in line with the contractual terms (cost, time, quality).

· 
Develop and maintain an efficient supply chain capable to deliver goods/work-packages (services), matching Airbus requirements and business objectives

· 
Ensure conformity to Airbus Supplier Code of Conduct and employees are trained on the procurement process; any deviations should be defined and shared as well

· 
Identify and Optimize bundling opportunities to leverage the buying power of Airbus in the Country/ Region and achieve potential savings.

· 
For the allocated portfolio of activities, formulate and implement the procurement strategy aligning with customers’ business needs by means of managing regular MFT (Multi-functional teams) meetings with stakeholders.

· 
Drive local for local / local for regional sourcing, apply Global for local contracts where beneficial and required, and contribute to local for global initiatives.

· 
Report on savings leveraging on AATC finance monitoring control and methodology for each Call for Tender.

· 
Contribute to proactive management of the relationship with internal business partners to ensure target level of customer satisfaction for the Region/Divisions. 

· 
Support the AATC management team and training network in driving and monitoring change management, to ensure a successful implementation of AATC procurement process and ensure the buy-in of the internal stakeholders.   

· 
Act as escalation point to the AATC Management for AATC procurement issues, etc.

· 
Contribute to innovation and digitalization in the procurement process through the deployment of state-of-the-art processes and tools. 

· 
Ensure AATC procurement process abide to Airbus export control guidelines

· 
Ensure that buy/sell items record keeping, marking & classifications for inbound/outbound items are duly documented and ensure that export control classification declarations are received and reviewed 

· 
Define AATC export control internal guidelines/manuals

· 
Accountable to support AATC GM to complete yearly Internal Compliance Self Assessment sections related to procurement and Export Control for purchasing and supply chain

· 
Ensure data covered by export control is managed, where a risk is identified, relevant stakeholders are engaged 

· 
Any other duties as assigned by the team

Job Requirements:

· 
A Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

· 
Qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management

· 
Required experience: At least 3 to 5 years of experience in the procurement field, preferably in the aviation industry.

· 
Good knowledge of Contracts 

· 
Strong negotiation skills 

· 
Contract monitoring 

· 
Deep procurement processes knowledge 

· 
Advance knowledge of SAP

· 
Experience working with multiple stakeholders 

· 
Good presentation skills
