Manuel Galiñanes

I studied medicine in Salamanca (Spain), specialised in Cardiac Surgery at the Gregorio Marañón Hospital (University Complutense of Madrid, Spain) and the Montreal Heart Institute & St. Justine Hospital (Montreal, Canada), worked as consultant in cardiac surgery at the Gregorio Marañón Hospital , thereafter did a PhD in Physiology/Biochemistry at Kings' College London and worked as Professor of Cardiac Surgery at the University of Leicester (UK) before taking the position of Head of Cardiac Surgery at the University Hospital Vall d'Hebron (Barcelona, Spain).
