04-2008 - AhoraÁmbito jurídico 1) Having worked at a Solicitors Office for 8 years, I have acquired the capability to communicate effectively with persons at all levels including clients, support staff, caseworkers, fee earners, managers and directors, and third party organisations such as barristers, the Home Office, the courts, the other side's solicitors, external consultants, estate agents, surveyors. My current employer has 4 officers in Birmingham, London, Hong Kong and Guangzhou, China and I have always been worked with colleagues at different offices effectively as a team
2) Having got dozens of live files in my current office, I am mastered in maintaining a spreadsheet database to keep track of the status of every single case to ensure relevant deadlines are not missed (including visa expiry, civil procedures limitation period, etc). I am enthusiastic about IT trends and a quick learner of different online form system such as those for visa applications and BAILII. I always worked promptly and made the caseworker/manager aware of work needed to be done
3) The legal work I have been involved requires constant and thorough online research, collation of bundle of documents and creating bundle indices. Given training, I will be adapted to using different IT systems effectively.
4) Through frequent completions of application forms for submissions to the law courts, UK Visas & Immigration and other authorities, and involvements in drafting official documents including Wills, Affidavits, Statutory Declarations, Witness Statements and Solicitors Certificates, etc, I am tailored to provide accurate and minute details whilst delivering the work in a timely manner
5) As a caseworker, I have been keen on empowering the support staff to perform duties such as online research, form completions, translations, photocopying, etc in order for the case to be completed in a time-efficient manner.
