Job description

SUMMARY

The Technical Writer prepares written technical publications in accordance with Project Engineer's instructions to specific, established specifications and individual customer requirements. This individual is responsible for preparing high quality, detailed documentation to continually support Production and Engineering departments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develops test plans and tests procedures for verification or qualification.
· Develops test reports.
· Has deep familiarity with Environmental Testing related to the aerospace industry.
· Ensures design for testability is considered at all levels.
· Supports system design activities.
· Participates in internal design reviews and customer reviews like PDR, CDR…
· Participates in company validations of new programs and is responsible for recording,

capturing and implementing changes agreed upon by the validating group.

· Possesses knowledge of detail electrical design and test equipment design.
· Has knowledge of qualification and certification testing (e.g. DO-160, Mil-Std- 810).
· Reviews and interprets product and system specifications.
· Able to multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment with minimal guidance.
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
