Our Health & Benefits (H&B) Non-NA practice helps our clients, both local and headquarters management, in the design, establishment, financing, operation, oversight and monitoring of their employee benefit programs around the world. In doing so we work closely with our local offices in other geographies, as well as subject matter experts in other segments.

The Role

As a Configurations Team Business Analyst within H&B Non NA, you will be an integral member of the non-NA team, involved in a number of data implementation activities to support our international benefits offerings including the following activities:
• Gathering requirements for inbound and outbound data feeds, setting data scrubbing parameters, defining calculations related to the appropriate benefits, and building data validations and reporting into our proprietary data cleaning system
• Coordinating with the implementations team project managers and local brokers on timing, implementations, and requirements gathering for the successful implementation of the Data Modules

Key Activities
Actively participate and engage in the definition of our standard Data Modules being rolled out to the H&B Non NA business within WTW, which includes the following – 
o Continue to stay up to speed with System Enhancements + newly identified Business Requirements
o Identify areas for improvement to evolve our standard H&B Non NA Configurations Team Processes
o Ensure our Benefits Access Clients + Country Roll Outs continue to evolve side by side with the above
o Support teams for ongoing usage and maintenance the above

• Support teams to review and analyze census file structure, scrubbing parameters, eligibility rules, and reporting requirements (vendor reporting + payroll reporting) for implementation of Benefits Access Clients & Country Roll Outs of Benefits Engine

o Participate in the data collection planning and preparation process
o Work directly with brokers on requirements gathering for system configuration
o Ensure appropriate governance and work quality processes are followed on all work carried out

• Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with associates in other Willis Towers Watson offices

Clients
• Deliver excellence to our clients and protect our core work by the delivery of the Benefits Engine Data Modules in support of Global H&B operations for Benefits Access Clients for the clients you are assigned to as the Doer or Reviewer and Country Roll Outs
• Work with implementations team to define workflow processes of day-to-day activities related to Benefits Access Clients
• Work with Regionals Ops & PE to define workflow processes of day-to-day activities related to Country Roll Outs
• Interface with colleagues from other Willis Towers Watson offices on assignments that reflect the client’s broader business issues
• Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve

The Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a program with heavy emphasis on mathematics or business
• At least 2 years’ experience working in as a systems analyst, data configuration and basic programming skills (Visual Basic), and strong analyst background experience in the benefits industry is preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proven experience successfully balancing multiple projects, working with tight deadlines and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget often across multiple, simultaneous projects that may involve different procedures and project team members
• Collaboration with a global team, including taking accountability for quality on-time delivery of work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter attitude and ability to work within ambiguity
• Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues
• Strong analytical and creative skills
• Continuous improvement mind-set – increasing task efficiency and effectiveness with each repetition and making recommendations for process improvement
