The Role
As an intern within Insurance Consulting & Technology (ICT) you will be responsible for providing assistance in the management of projects within the ICT team.

Performance Objectives:
Clients
·  Deliver tasks that meet or exceed client expectation
·  Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes
·  Monitor progress to deadlines and budget
Excellence
·  Assist with business planning, pricing, valuations, product development, design and sales of   life insurance products
·  Support Merger and Acquisition projects and insurance company restructurings and floatation
·  Assist with market entry strategies and research, financial reporting (appraisal/embedded value, China GAAP, IFRS & US GAAP)
People
·  Build strong relationships internally and with client representatives
·  Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels
·  Seek and participate in key learning and development opportunities/maintain steady progress through exams 

The Requirements:
·  Bachelor’s degree (or Master Degree) in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or numerate related fields
·  Undertaking an approved international actuarial qualification and be part way through the exams
·  Written and spoken fluency in English and Chinese
·  Strong actuarial and technical analytical skills
·  Able to work independently as well as contribute effectively as a team player
·  Attention to detail and commitment to task
·  Well organised, able to handle a variety of assignments and meet tight deadlines
·  Strong computer/programming skills (i.e. spreadsheets, databases, VBA)
