Ubisoft Bordeaux

Opened in September 2017, Ubisoft Bordeaux is a French AAA Studio responsible for games such as Ghost Recon, Just Dance, Beyond Good & Evil, Steep and the Rabbids. Ubisoft Bordeaux already has more than 200 employees and works with the studios of Annecy, Montpellier and Paris.

Are you dreaming of taking part in this new challenge? We are currently looking for a Mission Designer (M/F ) : discover the missions below and join our AAA teams!

Under the responsibility of the Lead Level Designer, you are responsible for designing part of the missions of the game. As such, your responsibilities will be to: 

·  Participate in the development of the overall mission structure (objectives, awards, missions ...) 
·  Be in charge of the paper design and development of main and secondary missions, by integrating the gameplay elements defined by the Game Designers and the scenarios imagined by the Narrative Designers. 
·  Use our scripting tool (nodal) to define the triggers necessary to the mission (appearance and exotic behaviours of the AI, scripted events ...), 
·  Validate the gameplay of the missions with the testers and Level Artists, 
·  Assist the Lead Level Designer on transversal missions and are the engine within the Level Design team.
·  Advanced training in Design, you have a minimum of 2 years experience in level/mission design and have already worked on AAA games
·  You know the technical constraints of an engine and are comfortable with scripting tools have a good capacity to illustrate your intentions,
·  You are creative, analytical, autonomous and rigorous
·  You have a level of English allowing you to interact with your non-French speaking peers
·  You are passionate about creating video games and you have a good video game culture
·  Evolve in a leading group in the video game industry in France and present in 30 different countries, with opportunities for international evolution
