Job description



The position is to be filled in the Enterprise Business Solutions team. The mandate of this team is to create the best IT tools/solutions possible for all Ubisoft employees around the world.

Ubisoft wants to breathe new life into its e-commerce business and has launched an IT program to make all initiatives possible. As a business analyst (IT) on this team, your role will be to work within a project team to meet business needs through IT solutions.

As part of the E-commerce team you will be in direct contact with the business teams in charge of Ubisoft's E-commerce strategy, you will be at the heart of the discussions and will have to carry out projects aimed at realizing Ubisoft's new ambitions about the shopping experience of our visitors and players on Ubistore and On UPlay. The scope of the projects is international, which means collaborating with many remote teams.

As such, your responsibilities will be:

·  Actively participate in framing studies ahead of tool implementation: defining the management rules and business processes of your internal customers (including sales and marketing teams);
·  Conduct studies of the impact of new projects on the existing IT ecosystem and on the ungoing projects within the program;
·  To be in charge of the collection of requirements, understanding and challenge of business needs as well as the drafting of functional specifications;
·  Connect with the technical teams dedicated to the project and monitor the progress of developments;
·  Actively participate in the integration testing and UAT phases (define the test plan, follow up,);
·  Be responsible for the deployment of the chosen solution, its setting and the management of interfaces;
·  Write documentation and ensure user training and support during the first few weeks of use.

Education:

·  Bachelor's degree in management information systems, information systems, computer science or a related field or equivalent experience;

Relevant experiences:

·  Minimum 2 years experience as a Business Analyst (IT)

Knowledge:

·  Knowledge of digital issues related to e-commerce: UX, SEO, web marketing;
·  Mastering the different phases of an IT project: collection of requirements, drafting of specifications, follow-up, testing, user training;
·  English required
·  French (an asset)
·  Past experience as a developer or technical training (an asset); 
·  Knowledge of web technologies: web services, CMS (an asset);
·  Knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (an asset);

·  Excellent ability to translate business needs into IT solutions;
·  Very good listening and communication skills to make two different worlds speak;
·  Ability to understand and support complex IT topics;
·  Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel;
·  Agility and open-mindedness, to adapt to the constraints and challenges of an ever-changing environment;
·  Good analysis and taking into account impacts on other functional areas;
