Job Summary:
The Technology Group is the primary technology partner of game production teams. We develop tools, middleware and online solutions used in Ubisoft games. We also provide advisory services to production teams that request an external viewpoint on challenges for which we have the necessary technical expertise.
Ubisoft is hiring a web-service engineer interested in creating optimized and scalable backend solutions driving engaging web experiences for mobile and consoles. We are looking for a talented developer that, within a versatile Agile team, would take an active role in creating and evolving The Ubisoft Club’s back-end source code.

Responsibilities:

·  Actively participate in the design and evolution of APIs & tools according to the team’s roadmap;
·  Develop and debug tacking into account the technical constraints;
·  Ensure clear and structural programming, keeping performance, maintenance and compatibility requirements in mind;
·  Suggest improvements whenever necessary by designing and implementing new systems;
·  Document the work to transfer knowledge and enable users (other programmers and team members from other working units) to understand how to use the new systems and features.

Requirements:

Experience:

·  In depth knowledge of C#;
·  Experience with RESTful services with ASP.NET WebApi;
·  RESTful API backend developer (.NET);
·  Expertise in database and web-service optimizations;
·  Excellent capacity in database modeling.
·  Nice to have:
·  Experience with Javascript, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL;
·  Front-end dev consuming REST APIs.
