DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:

Position Overview:

JOB OBJECTIVE:

Overall responsibility for marketing investment funds (DME and marketing deductions) for LCBU (5 Franchise Units: Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, CAMCAR and Division)

Strong support on budgetary control to ensure LCBU FO management can readily understand status of all spend (actual, commitment, available) across all FUs and Bottlers.

Support financial management through risk and opportunity tracking and understanding via continuous relationship building with budget executors and Finance contacts

Co-ordinate the approval / system process of DME campaigns, follow-up and communication with Commercial Finance, Marketing and Operations teams regarding DME spending.

Driving value understanding and DME efficiencies in collaboration with Finance Planning Manager

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Key Accountabilities)

·  Works closely with relevant operations and finance teams (GFO, MEM CENTER, AP, P2P) including bottlers to maintain robust budgetary control of DME and Marketing Deductions across the FU
·  Secures DME and marketing deductions actuals in line with Company Policies and procedures
·  Coordinate the collaboration with IPM on actual, RE and BP preparation and submissions.
·  Accurate delivery of data for monthly Rolling Estimate process in close collaboration with FU operation contacts and MEM CENTER
·  Analyze spending YTD/YTG, trends v PY and BP.
·  Analyze spending by category (Media, Shopper etc..)
·  Analysis of budget marketing expenses and evolution tracking
·  Lead the DMI review during FU Marketing budget meetings and Monthly Business Reviews with Finance Planning Manager.
·  Track related DMI risks & opportunities at FU level.
·  Provide financial facts & analysis to with relevant benchmarks for routine management reporting and to support decision making & business planning
·  Develop close working relationships with key FU associates to ensure they receive appropriate DMI support and analysis
·  Captures data in a way which supports Procurement Managers driving savings in our strategic spend and more informed understanding of Marketing spend
·  Manage ad-hoc request related to DMI analysis. This include support to Finance Planning manager for – BU/FO analysis
·  Business Plan process map, data collection and analysis for and in line with agreed Business Plan target and process
·  Train FU marketing teams on DMI management and reporting
·  Local FU Business Plan process map, data collection and analysis for and in line with agreed Business Plan deadlines and process
·  Support Audit preparation and follow up with C&C and assist CAD/external audit

PERFORMANCE CRITERIA

·  Obtain necessary understanding and meet all internal and external deadlines both in terms of integrity, accuracy and completeness – act as a team player
·  Achieve transparency in reporting and budget management via process management and constant dialogue with internal customers through pro-active management of budgeting and planning solutions and support of budget coordinators in the different departments in a way that secures accurate and complete reporting of our marketing expenditure
·  Successful audits by internal and external auditors both in terms of management, planning, documentation and follow-up
·  Driving and advocating financial thinking and value orientation in all Marketing projects
·  Interpretation of financial data to help budget holders understand, plan & manage their funds
·  Continuous improvement: be proactive in providing continuous feed backs to our key finance support functions to keep improving quality  of the work delivered

EDUCATION:

• Graduate i specialized business studies with major in financial management accounting and controlling or similar relevant study.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3-4 yearsof relevant working experience

• Knowledge of marketing controlling
• In depth understanding and knowledge of TCCC systems, business processes and governance skills.

• Financial knowledge including budgeting, reporting, accounting.

• Excellent skills in SAP, MEM, MS-Excel; ability to use MS-Word & MS-Power Point.
