DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:

Position Overview:

The position is responsible for the supervision of the Accounts Payable Customer Service Associate staff including the hiring, training, assigning and directing the workflow of the staff. This position requires regular communication to internal and external customers, proposals to management for process improvement solutions and ad-hoc report development for special projects to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Specific  Activities :

·  Assist Department Manager in accomplishing departmental goals and objectives.
·  Be motivated to identify ways to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
·  Supervise members of the staff in order to expand efficiency and ensure processes are compliant with company guidelines.
·  Monitor metrics to ensure issue resolution is tracking to expectations and workload is properly distributed.
·  Provide personalized customer service at the highest level.
·  Research escalated payable issues using the Procurement and Accounts Payable systems. Includes payments made, expense reports, purchase orders, goods receipts, vendor records, payment deductions, open and closed invoices, check remittance, and discrepancies. 
·  Train and coach Level I and II Customer Service Associates on the Accounts Payable system, including the resolution of complex payment requests and issues.
·  Special projects as assigned.
·  Answer phones, voicemails, and email inquiries in a professional and courteous manner when need it.
·  Provide personalized customer service at the highest level.
·  Follow-up with clients, ensuring all requests are appropriately and thoroughly resolved in a timely manner, and that the solution is received and acceptable to the client.

Requirements :

·  Fluent in English
·  Additional language preferred: French
·  Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
·  Related Work Experience: At least 3 years in Accounts Payable in some type of leadership role. Leadership Behaviors:
