Description

Building our Super Charger network is vital to our success, making driving electric vehicles more and more accessible to a wider audience. Our Super Charger network is expanding across Europe and so too is our Super Charger Team. This team manages everything from the planning and mapping of future Super Charger stations, to their installation and construction. They operate in a complex environment dealing with the whole process; country mapping, identifying potential sites, assessing their viability, negotiating contracts, site development and construction through to marketing and opening the site.

The role will involve supporting the team achieve its targets by being the central coordinator for all team activities. We need individuals who are able to operate in a highly complex environment managing the diverse activities. These roles are generally most suited to technically minded students who are able to design or adapt tools and systems to help in planning and scheduling of work. You will gain exposure to many different functions and be able to see first-hand how they operate to bring about Tesla’s success.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

·  Supporting the Super Charger team in the delivery of the full lifecycle of Super Charger site development and installation, including site diligence and obtaining key buy-in from stakeholders range from site owners to grid operators to permitting authorities.
·  Acting as the nerve centre coordinating team activities, and planning workflows
·  Learning in detail the processes involved in planning and implementing never seen before projects throughout your region.
·  Communicating outside of the team to other functions within the business, detailing key deadlines and ensuring work stays on track.
·  Supporting external communications regarding contract negotiations, supporting marketing and ribbon cutting events for the sites that are developed
·  Devising and adapting tools to manage all elements of team activities and workflow
·  Additional projects may be possible during your internship within this function

Successful candidates will have a BSc, MSc, or BA in the following fields of study: Logistics or Project Management, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Finance or Economics, But we would welcome applications from other study areas.

·  You will be able to take on the role for at least a 6-month period , being based in Barcelona .
·  You will be a strategic thinker who is able to operate in a complex environment, and balance priorities effectively
·  You will be technically minded and able to solve challenging problems with minimal supervision.
·  You will need to have a flexible approach to work and a 'can do' attitude
·  Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
·  Possess drive, enthusiasm and a genuine interest and curiosity in the business
·  Strong command of English and Fluency in Spanish required. O ther languages are a plus.
·  The responsibilities within the internship may change over time. This role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the project and the organization. There will be further career opportunities based on performance and interest.
