As a Sr. Designer Piping you will be located at our office at Capelle a/d Ijssel and will be responsible for developing 3D models for various offshore and onshore projects, topside modules for FPSO using 3D plant design tools (PDMS / E3D). You will also participate in the model reviews with client, organize the design team, play a focal point between the design and engineering team, optimize the pipe routing, generating layout drawings and isometrics, use MDS for pipe supporting.

Your responsibilities

·  Work independently and /or with consultation of a senior designer and produce isometrics and layout drawings.
·  3D modelling for piping and equipment's in Plant3D and / or PDMS.
·  Using PDMS draft for various layouts.
·  Using MDS for pipe supports.
·  Make materials and / or components choices independently based on specifications.
·  Check design details in combination with a site visit
·  Supervise and coach draughtsman, junior designers
·  Help in progress reporting and project planning
·  Planning and organizing client reviews
·  Generating optimal routing for piping and preparing material take offs.

Your profile



·  You have system experience : PDMS, , Auto CAD, Word, Excel.
·  Knowledge of engineering codes ASME, EN, Norsok.
·  Experience with FPSO is a must.
·  You can work independently.
·  You are solution-oriented.
·  Structured.
·  Initiative taking.
