At TechnipFMC, we deliver critical projects of a scale, scope and difficulty that you simply won't find anywhere else. We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Engineer H/F who can join our multicultural team in Paris.

The duties of the regulatory compliance engineer on a project typically includes the following activities:

· 
Establish, maintain and implement project procedures related to regulatory compliance

· 
Ensure suitable reporting to project management and client

· 
Review national regulations and inform the project of regulations that have impact in each project phase.

· 
Ensure that documentation of regulatory compliance is robust and available for audits.

· 
Establish and maintain a permitting register

· 
Establish and implement a CE marking strategy, coordination and support to the project for the applicable European Directives; PED, ATEX, Machinery Directive, EMC, LV etc. Establish and execute contract with Notified Body.

· 
For Classification, Flag and Verification, establish and execute contract with third party(ies). Ensure that all exchanges with third party are performed in a timely manner and are of the right quality.

Engineering degree or equivalent, min 8 years of relevant work experience in the oil and gas industry with a minimum of 3-year experience in work with third party organizations, national authorities.

Good understanding of the role, responsibilities and limitations of regulatory bodies such as; national authorities, Classification Societies, Flag Administrations, Independent Verification Bodies and Notified Bodies.

Good understanding of the laws, regulations and standards applied by regulatory bodies and third parties such as; European Directives, Classification rules, IMO codes and conventions,Written verification schemes i.e.

Capability to promote team-working and collaboration among the different functions both internally with procurement, engineering, inspection, construction, commissioning and externally with third parties, clients, sub-contractors and suppliers.

Open minded and creative with excellent communication skills.

Fluent in english, french,

Russian if possible
