Job purpose:

-Is responsible for critically reviewing interfaces with all field disciplines giving technical clarification to construction subcontractors.

-Is responsible for dealing with both technical and economical/scheduling aspects of project change orders in construction phase.

Profile:

Must have:

· 
Engineering degree or diploma with minimum 3 to 5 years experience as project engineer (or equivalent).

· 
Professional English.

Nice to have:

·  Experience in process / engineering.
·  Experience in companies providing engineering services to the Chemical, Refining or Petrochemical Industry.

Main accountabilities:

· 
Ensures technical project execution on site by :

- Coordinating and supervising field engineers.

- Monitoring compliance with contractual requirements, engineering specifications and Technip QHSES requirements.

- Managing change orders requested by site management from technical solution to on site implementation.

· 
Ensures coordination of interfaces among field engineering disciplines and with site supervision, home office engineering resources, site procurement, clients, vendors, licensors, partners.

· 
Defines engineering coordination procedures on site and supports local procurement activities.

· 
Actively controls schedule execution and proposes corrective actions when needed.

· 
Ensures timely internal and external reporting on site engineering / requisitioning activities.

· 
Contributes to respect of material and man/hours budget by proposing optimized technical solutions and monitoring impacts of change orders on budget.

· 
Contributes to defining and coordinating permitting process with local authorities to obtain approval on engineering documents.
