Instrumentation and Control Engineer Junior

Job Purpose:

Technip in Spain is looking for a Junior Electronic and Control Engineer to be in charge of all technical activities related to Instrumentation & Control area. It is a TEMPORARY position. 5/6 months.

Reporting lines and interactions:
Functionally reports to: Instrumentation Manager and Project Managers
Operationally reports to: Instrumentation Manager
Key interactions (internally, externally): other Engineering departments, clients and suppliers.

Profile:

Must have:
· Bachelor Degree in Electronic Engineering, instrumentation and control.
· At least 3 years experience in Design and execution of projects in oil and gas facilities.
· Knowledge of gases and liquids process analysers, also on-line process analysers.
· Knowledge of Autocad and MS Office.
· Experience in companies providing engineering services to the Chemical, Refining or Petrochemical Industry.
· English level intermediate

Nice to have:

· Master Degree in Electronic Engineering.
· Knowledge of INTOOLS.
· Fluent in english. French is a plus.
· Knowledge of Microstation or Smartplan is desirable.
· Expert inFunctional Safety ISA/SIL
· Experience in multinational oil & gas companies

Main accountabilities:
· Instruments specifications and requisitions.
· Instruments and signals List.
· Data report preparation.
· Hook-up's.
· Control diagrams.
· Specification of operating conditions and design.
· Implantation of interconnection boxes and routings of cables.
· Ensures timely and qualitative preparation of technical specifications and requisitions in coordination with other disciplines.
· Interfaces with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planning.
