POSITION PURPOSE:
The Applications Analyst will support operations by monitoring and analyzing master data, key data, and master relationship data within the organization. This role ensures master data integrity in key systems (i.e. SAP, InteServ, Fire, etc.) as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality. The position calls for both data management capabilities and business process understanding. This includes: master data creation, deletion, standardization, validation and loading. Collaboration will be necessary as this position will be working closely with: The Resource Management team, IT, Sales and Operations. To be successful, this role requires strong intuitive skills to proactively ask the appropriate questions to ensure the quality of our master data.

POSITION DUTIES:
• Creates, validates, standardizes, deletes and loads master data within SAP and other supporting business systems.
• Responsible for the creation and implementation of processes in relation to master data management.
• Works directly with Sales and Operations to ensure business changes are reflected to all relevant existing master data.
• Provides real-time problem-solving support, advice and guidance for Field Operations regarding master data needs that is professional, responsive, and assumes responsibility for conclusion
• Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
• In collaboration with subject matter experts and data stewards, defines and implements data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
• Work with global counterparts in support of data governance and business rules.
• Provides assistance in resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards
• Serves in supporting role of ongoing projects and special projects
• Documents existing standards and processes as necessary to support training of new employees and development of area SMEs.
• Provides testing support for new system enhancements and project implementation.
• Standardizes and maintains short and long descriptions in the systems to ensure clarity on documents that are presented to customers.
• Observes and demonstrates safety behaviors consistent with FTI Safety polices. Reports unsafe working conditions and behaviors per standard protocol. Takes reasonable and prudent actions to prevent others from engaging in unsafe acts.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• BS/BA degree in related field preferred or equivalent years of work experience.
• Prefers a minimum of 3 years of experience in the data analytics or related discipline.
• Demonstrated business acumen with solid analytical skills capable of analyzing data and making recommendations.
• Demonstrated computer skills with proven proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
• Effectively use interpersonal and communication skills including tact and diplomacy.
• Effectively use organizational skills with attention to detail and consistent follow through and completion of assigned tasks.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, management, and key stakeholders.
