Work Context Of The Job

In the area of Digital-IT Solution Architecture the scope of the work is: cloud-specific patterns/technologies/networking, Azure cloud environment, CI/CD/DevOps, infrastructure-as-a-code, security foundations, hyper-scaled infrastructure, containers and orchestration, cloud application design.

 

Mission

The person will be fully responsible to lead the implementation of transformation roadmap for Agile Methods & Tools solution portfolio, including the following activities:
- lead the definition and creation of all design artifacts,
- ensure adherence to corporate security rules,
- “hands-on” contribution (be active member of SW development team) & lead implementation of Proof-of-Concepts / prototype for new solution introduction,
- “hands-on” lead for industrialization/scale-up projects of validated/introduced new solutions,
- consulting and support for functional fine-tuning, performance issues, continuous improvement, solution evolution, on-demand missions.

The role requires interacting and aligning with Enterprise Architects in design digital business architecture consistently with ST enterprise architecture principles & ST cloud strategy as well as with Security Architects in secure design & architecture.

Profile

Essential

·  **Experience of cloud ecosystem & solutions (especially Azure/AWS)
·  **Experience of cloud patterns & cloud-based solution architecture (Cache-aside, back-end per front-end, gatekeeper)
·  **Experience of technical integration architecture & patterns (system-to-system integration, Enterprise Application Integration, SOA, REST API, iPass, data integration)
·  **Experience of deployment of container and scheduling orchestration mechanisms (Docker, dynamic job scheduling, scalable workload automation)
·  *Understanding of cloud network architecture (V-Net, subnet, VPC, VPN, express route, direct connection), security architecture and security framework (Multi-Factor Authentication, Single-Sign-On, SAML, LDAP, Kerberos, Active Directory, firewall & proxy)
·  *Understanding of infrastructure design (virtualization & container) & application design (object-oriented design pattern, application security)
·  Understanding of Digital and emerging technologies (high performance application, low-code technologies)
·  Strategic and conceptual thinking (capability to vision the future landscape)
·  Leading business transformation change, out-of-the-box thinking and building trust (no fear of failure, prototyping/fast-fail mindset)
·  Teamwork attitude in multi-cultural fast-paced environment, comfortable with risk-taking & team-based decisions
·  Result-oriented (concrete “hands-on” delivery of solutions)

Desirable

·  Understanding of Application Lifecycle Management platforms (e.g. Tuleap, GitHub, TFS) and related SW engineering services: Git, SVN, Gerrit, Pull Request
