Job Description

Modern cybersecurity strategies rely on the ability to combine several attack detection capabilities to isolate and contain the most advanced threats . It requires cybersecurity products to communicate with each other to share information feeds to enhance their detection capabilities.

Alsid strongly adheres in this vision and is looking for a Software Security Engineer having a strong experience in corporate cybersecurity to design and lead the development of apps connecting the company’s products to the rest of the cyber ecosystem.

From the various SIEM leading the market (such as Splunk, ArcSight or Azure Sentinel) to most advanced SOAR (like Phantom, or Demisto XSOAR), you will be responsible for connecting Alsid’s products to these solutions. This position also includes the design of new detection capabilities by implementing the playbooks and correlation rules required to bring attack detection to the next level.

By working closely with the CTOs, you will play a pivotal role in the recognition of Alsid as a major security actor while establishing strong technological relationships with major cybersecurity vendors like Crowdstrike, Microsoft, IBM, Palo Alto, FireEyes or SentinelOne.

YOUR MISSIONS

By collaborating with Alsid’s cybersecurity team, your job will be dedicated to the development of the apps connecting Alsid’s to the other cybersecurity products and to design the best attack detection correlation strategies for these connectors. Your daily missions will include:

·  Develop the apps connecting Alsid’s products to other cyber security products in the landscape in various scripting languages
·  Design cybersecurity strategies to increase the product capabilities such as: playbooks, correlation rules or security workflows
·  Establish and manage strong technological partnerships with top cybersecurity vendors to create operational excellence

Preferred Experience

YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS

Experience

·  3+ years working as technical security engineer in security vendor or a large enterprise managing its own SOC or CSIRT
·  A master-grade diploma in Computer Science and Software Development

Required skills

·  Excellent knowledge of cybersecurity industry (SIEM, SOAR, TTPs, CSIRT, SOC, etc. should have no secret for you)
·  Demonstrated development capabilities across different scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
·  Proven track record of conducting technical security operation (such as red or blue team exercise, forensic operation, etc.)
·  Ability to take ambitious initiative and to work independently
·  Solve complex problems ; take a new perspective on existing solutions
·  Focus on execution and delivery
·  Versatile IT skills and eager to learn new technologies
·  Excellent organizational and communication skills
·  Good English speaking
