Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the role will involve assisting the management team in monitoring & steering the operations & risks associated, in addition to a variety of other tasks and projects in a dynamic and varied atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mind-set who is eager to gain broad exposure and experience.

You will have the following responsibilities:

- Prepare activity & risk dashboards

- Attend meetings, prepare minutes and matters arising

- Follow action logs & projects liaising the management & project team

- Monitor regulatory changes

- Assist in the preparation and follow up of budgets

- Client invoicing

- Participate to projects as may be required

- Prepare NAV for investment funds

- Book and reconcile transactions

- Ensure all portfolio prices are correct and in line with the procedures & fund valuation policy

- Report & escalate issues to management promptly

- Interact with clients, brokers, banks when required

Profile Required

Graduate from Engineering school, Business School or University with a master degree in Finance.

You are fluent in English; French is a plus.

You are proficient with MS Office.

Good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills necessary.

Strong attention to detail.

Good initiative required but also ability to recognize when escalation of issues needs to be taken.

Strong financial product knowledge.

Good IT skills, knowledge of SQL, VBA an advantage.

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Dublin is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com .
