Industrial Engineer

The industrial Engineer at Siemens is responsible to support production lines by creating, establishing and maintaining manufacturing processes for Siemens products. The engineer works with lean manufacturing tools to create value in production lines, developing improvement projects, such as kaizen events, SPS projects, VSM´s, etc.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform VSM´s (value stream maps) of current situation for different production lines.
· Realize analysis of low efficiency/low production output and propose solutions to increase them.
· Improve production line balancing.
· Realize Workstations designs to improve cycle times in critical operations.
· Work in standardization of workstations.
· Realize ergonomics analysis at critical stations/operations.
· Participate at GEMBA projects (improvement projects with Managers).
· Propose new ideas of production systems in order to increase efficiency
· Creation and Maintaining of production routings in SAP system.
· Visual factory tasks. Manage visual aids, work instructions and line identifications
· Responsibility for KPI achievement.

Requirements:

· Industrial Engineer degree or similar.
· 1 years of relevant work experience or internship.
· Fluency or professional proficiency in English.
· Strong commitment in achieving key performs targets.
· Proactive and service dedication to production floor.
· Excellent presentation skills and ability to engage audiences.
· Good communications skills.
· Builds relationships and works well across functions. Mainly production.
· Employs effective time management skills and meets deadlines.
· SAP knowledge desirable.
