Job Description
Electronic Hardware Engineer II
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate has solid experience in electronics design andmust be able to work in across functional and across sites team with some supervision. Will contribute in execution of technical aspects of the development projects. Is responsible for his deliverables and together with the team for the entire projection. Isable to get things done in a dynamic deadline driven environment.
Individual will design solutions, meet deadlines, and complete medium difficult engineering assignments by demonstrating competency. Will beresponsible for evaluating, designing, developing and modifying motion control, power control, digital and analog circuits. Responsibilities range from components selection, bread-boarding, testing, troubleshooting, problem solving, system integration and reporting results.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
Design and troubleshoot mechatronic, digital and power conversion electronic hardware
Demonstrated ability to investigate, design and develop electronics that interface with environmental and physical sensors, capture, record and communicate sensor data
Solid understanding or experience in CAN bus is a plus
Responsible for performing root cause analysis, solving technical problems and documentation
Programming experience for troubleshoot and design verification is desired
Proficient in Mentor Graphics PCB development tool set is preferred.
Skilled using laboratory test & measurement equipment such as mixed signal oscilloscopes, logic analyzer, audio analyzers, power analyzers, etc.
Solid written, verbal and technical language proficiency
Self-motivated, initiative and drive
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Education and Experience:
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field with minimum 3 years of experience is required. MSEE is preferred.
