The Challenge

We have a number of different exciting buying and logistic opportunities in our Lincoln office, you will be asked to specify in your application which roles you would like to be considered for, below is a short summary of each:

Purchasing Internship - Carrying out activities in the area of Purchasing, with the objective of optimising supply, taking into account the total cost of ownership. Responsible for Placing of purchase orders to support material requirements, monitoring of Suppliers' on-time delivery performance, resolving of supplier payment issues, maintaining relationships with key suppliers through operational reviews, product cost reduction activities, including supplier negotiations, supporting the Purchasing Department in delivering projects & hitting targets.

·  Degree required for role : working towards a Business related degree or CIPS qualification

Factory Logistics Intern - Support the Factory Logistics Manager and their team in Lincoln to map and trend through digital data parts to progress through to business operations in their defined timescales. You will create a multi department business agreement to progress them with their owners and in completing this activity you will dfine the resolution of these opportunities, identify appropriate escalation points and establish timescales and form them into KPI's. A large part of the role will be working with the digital implementation teams to structure the data they may need.

·  Degree required for role: Working towards a Logistics or business degree

Global Logistics Internship - Work alongside the Head of Global Logistics and the Logistics team in developing processes and KPI's to effectively manage our logistics operation and to work on continuous improvement projects to support future efficiency, productivity and financial savings. The goal is to foster continuous improvement in logistics.

·  Degree required for role: Working towards a degree in Finance, Logistics or Economics

Tactical Purchasing Internship - Support Purchasing in Lincoln on developing processes and KPI's to effectively improve and manage our on-time delivery performance from our third-party suppliers, in line with scheduled and unplanned demands. Collaborate with the buyers and interrelated departments, such as Engineering, Quality and Good Receiving on continuous improvement projects in on time delivery, in particular through making better use of the opportunities offered by digital technologies.

·  Degree required for role: Working towards a degree in Finance, Logistics or Economics
