Job Description:

The role of this position is mainly focused on all billing responsibilities for Anchorage, Honolulu, and Los Angeles, specifically supporting Building Technologies. The main objective of this position is to ensure accurate billings are generated and delivered to all customers in a timely fashion as well as collaborating with finance, sales and operations to maintain accurate accounts receivable. This role directly impacts both internal and external customers and will have direct contact with both which adds great value to the overall customer experience. This role involves interaction with global customers and innovative projects which provides exposure within the company and unique opportunities for the employee.

Responsibilities

Primary:

·  Prepare weekly and bi-weekly payroll submissions
·  Prepare public works documents; including certified payroll
·  Prepare labor union reports
·  Prepare OCIP reports
·  Process check requests

Support Function:

·  Generate invoices in accordance to customer contracts and project deliverables
·  Ensure timely and accurate project and non-project related billings
·  Create and/or modify customer information in accounting system
·  Upload invoices into client portal
·  Resolve any customer billing issues in collaboration with Sales and Operations teams
·  Develop and maintain effective customer relations; both internal and external

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:

·  High school diploma or equivalent
·  3+ years' experience in understanding of accounting procedure
·  Ability to work independently and manage and meet deadlines and schedules
·  Ability to work occasional overtime
·  Possess strong written and oral communications skills as well as great analytical skills
·  Ability to read and understand standard contracts
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools especially Excel

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

·Experience with SAP or other ERP system

·Construction industry experience a plus

·Understanding of Sales and Use tax in the construction industry
