Procurement Buyer

What are we looking for?

Do you have a passion for supply chain, purchasing and solving complex business challenges? We are currently seeking a self-driven Buyer candidate with a passion purchasing to join our team. This position will be located in our Tlaxcala manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure the delivery and quality performance of the external supply chain.

· Propose and support implementation of cost reduction objectives.

· Manage part qualifications for change in part or supply.

· Propose and support implementation of procurement efficiency improvements.

· Engage with cross functional teams and reach mutually acceptable results.

Desired profile

Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Operations Engineering
·  Strong relationship management skills.
·  Experience performing complex analysis assignments with a strong financial analysis capability.
·  Experience as a buyer of 2 or 3 years as minimum.
·  It's nice to have experience with plastics commodity.
·  Strong leadership skills: Customer Service , collaboration, communication, influence, drive for results, effective planning / prioritization, project management.
·  Strong verbal / presentation and written communications skills working in a complex organization.
·  Fluent in English
·  Proficiency user of Microsoft Office & SAP
