Pre-Construction Co-Op: Summer 2020

This position is responsible for assisting in creating customized estimates for building automation and/or integrated security systems. This includes providing material costs, associated labor, subcontracted electrical installation and assistance in final review of the projects. Position is accountable for developing quotations for customers by utilizing technical skills and teamwork to prepare quotation packages for plan and spec construction projects. Interprets plans and specifications and develop solutions that utilize Schneider Electrics products to give the most value to our customers. Work with senior pre-construction engineers and the sales team to create custom scopes of work to meet project requirements

What do you get to do in this position?

·Understands, analyzes, documents, and communicates technical conditions relative to the project.

·Learn about Schneider Electrics latest building automation and security system products

·Works with Operations, Engineering and Sales groups throughout estimation process

·Develop detailed scope letters and optimal system designs

·Attends various meetings throughout project, including hand-off and design review. May include on-site meetings.
