Schneider Electric USA is a leading manufacturer of equipment for electrical distribution, industrial control, and automation. We have the following position available in Houston, Texas:

Business Development Analyst: S/he prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text. S/he will be responsible for creating effective business plans, country growth plans, action plans to achieve targeted order intake and wallet-share objectives and support the preparation of customer account plans for the Oil & Gas and Petrochemicals segment. S/he will be in charge of analyzing business processes and identifying opportunities to generate additional order intake by evaluating market trends, anticipating competitive risks and analyzing customer investment policies. S/he will identify business opportunities or projects with CapEx over 5B€ from external databases such as EIC, IRR and Project Smart Explorer, to boost growth and hit rate of the OGP segment. S/he will generate ideas and initiatives that capitalize on existing and prospective business. S/he will manage quarterly business reviews with key accounts and prepare key growth plans for the strategic and targeted accounts of OGP segment. S/he will contribute to valuable sales and marketing information and strategic recommendations to achieve operational objectives, help continue business success, expand market share, credibility and customer diversity. S/he will develop and present a detailed report on the business potential by researching on the global trends, monitoring key customer activities in collaboration with management consulting firms to leverage research and formulate strategies. S/he will support sales through lead generation and initial sales qualification. S/he will analyze opportunities and support country sales force and global management team in project selection. S/he will gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution. S/he will ensure full follow-up of Customer Project Process (CPP) and track complete progress of the projects in the Schneider Electric's customized CRM tool on salesforce called bFO. S/he will forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data. S/he will collaborate with different regions including NAM, SAM, CIS, Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa business analysts and region heads to drive revenue growth in the respective regions. S/he will support development and preparation of marketing campaigns to generate business and foster beneficial relationships with business partners, potential customers, and business contacts to attract new business and enhance organization reputation. S/he will be effectively proposing the motto and the mission of the company to the customers. S/he will measure the effectiveness of programs and strategies. S/he will ensure customer satisfaction and interactive engagement is maintained at the highest level through increased availability/access, timely communication and follow up on issues. S/he will use in-depth knowledge of back office functions to provide specialized support expertise to sales colleagues and customers through effective use of internal tools, collateral, and business systems. S/he will be using the bFO in providing sales forecasts, updating opportunity information and issuing support requests. S/he will be the certified sales process champion for the OGP segment, leveraging the highest access(CEO) to bFO. S/he will compute the Schneider Potential accessible market(PAM) from end user investor company's current year CAPEX and OPEX and quantify it in the value proposal. S/he will compare PAM from Annual market report (AMR) and from external data bases to bFO coverage per geographic region and per account. S/he will devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires or arrange to obtain existing data. S/he will participate in segment target setting process, support the introduction of new KPIs and evaluate the existing KPI targets based on business priorities. This position requires Master's degree in International Business or related field and 5 years of work experience in enterprise applications. Also must have 3 years of work experience in an Oil & Gas industry: 1.) Creating databases and data using CRM and applying analytics to forecast pipeline including CRM, ERP, and Salesforce; 2.) VBA to complete sales functionality; and 3.) Predictive analysis for order intake.
