Job description



Schneider Electric USA is a leading manufacturer of equipment for electrical distribution, industrial control, and automation. We have the following position available in O'Fallon, Missouri:

Business Analyst: S/he will work with business teams to understand the business and system processes. S/he will communicate technological expertise to the sales and operational teams to develop efficient systems and technical specifications. S/he will create technical design and manage development activities to deliver system functionality. S/he will co-ordinate testing, user training, communication and roll out of new functionality. S/he will align with the rest of the information processing organization to deliver cohesive end to end solutions for business processes. S/he will conduct interviews and feedback sessions with sales reps, managers, quote specialists and project managers. S/he will represent the team while coordinating activities with off-shore team, design, develop, test and co-ordinate User Acceptance Test(UAT). S/he will write test plans and cases for testing. S/he will represent team in all Agile Ceremonies such as Scrum calls, Scrum of Scrums, Demo sessions, Change Control Meetings, Sprint Review/Retro, and tech review. S/he will understand how Q2C and SE Advantage are being used as a quote and order management system, to understand the end to end business transformation scope that the team is responsible for. This will be key while working on functionality within the scope of this transformation. S/he will work with Schneider Electric business teams, business analysts from the global team and the global delivery team to implement and deliver functionality in bFO such as Salesforce.com implementation for CRM. S/he will create job aids, training plans for functionality UAT and Roll Out such as presentations, word documents and plans in Excel. Supervises 1-2 Business Solutions Manager. Telecommuting 2-3 days/week. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related field and 3 years of work experience as a Business Analyst. Also must have 1 year of work experience with: (1.) Prepare process and function flows using Microsoft Visio; (2.) Utilize Atlassian Tools as JIRA or Team Foundation Server to track all requirements, defects, and quality control; and (3.) Agile methodologies.
