Which is your mission?

Our Industrial Automation business is a global supplier of control systems and safety systems to customers operating some of the world's largest and most complex industrial plants, such as oil refineries, power stations (both fossil fuel and nuclear) and petrochemical plants. Our Foxboro distributed control system (DCS) is a world leader in industrial automation and our Triconex emergency shutdown system is recognised as the world's leading safety system.

For our office in Barcelona (Sant Boi de Llobregat), we are looking for an enthusiastic Site Service Engineer for Industrial Automation Business. You will work onsite with end-customer at chemical, power or petrochemical Process Automation Systems and will travel around Spain & Portugal and occasionally abroad.

Responsibilities

· Engineering and Test of Process Control Systems and Safety systems
· Software, Hardware and Network Maintenance of Process Control Systems based on Windows Technology
· Installation and Commissioning
· Upgrades and Repair of existing systems (Hardware/Software) and system maintenance
· Analysis of Errors, Diagnostics and Repair of Systems
· Reporting and database management.
· Prepare customer specific improvement concepts, work closely with Sales to prepare customer solutions
· Available for on-call rotation and other system “call-outs” as required.

Qualifications :

Who are you?
·  Master of Engineering/Science or Technician with focus on Automation Technology, Computer Science or Communication Technology
·  First experience in Process Automation
·  Knowledge of Wonderware products
·  Experience with Computer and Network Topology
·  Knowledge of Information Technology (IT) and Computer Science
·  Knowledge of Programming and Operating System (Windows)
·  Customer Focus
·  Spanish – fluent; English – intermediate; Portuguese is an advantage
·  Willingness to travel and to be on–call for after hours support
