(TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY)

Position Summary Includes the following but not limited to:

·  Review Powerhouse Policies, Procedures, Equipment Manuals and demonstrate understanding, develop new procedures/flow charts and presentation as needed
·  Develop record of plant understanding and review it with shift/maintenance engineer
·  Exhibit competence in planning & scheduling for passing exams IV/III class exams to ensure pass results can be submitted to Sanofi before end of the respective term
·  Must be able to perform plant routine operation which requires physical movements such as bending, lifting, chemical handling, valve operation, stair climbing, walking, standing on feet etc.
·  Develop & demonstrate understanding of boiler, Cogen, BOP equipment startup and shutdown
·  Trace steam/water/air/condensate line and draw P&ID systems/cycle including isolation points
·  Monitor plant statistics & process parameters, discuss deviations with shift / maintenance engineer and make notes.
·  Monitor and execute PM plan for Utility department equipment which include RO Units, Pumps, Compressors, maintain presentable records
·  Develop understanding of TSSA requirements for plant monitoring and comply
·  Observe abnormality in the plant such as noise, vibration, leaks etc. and initiate action
·  Efficiently maintain water chemistry. Perform water tests, review results with shift/maintenance engineer and initiate action
·  Coordinate contractor and project activities and ensure compliance with Sanofi HSE Regulations
·  Communicate with vendors as required for parts, ongoing and upcoming jobs.
·  Manage PPE supplies, Spill prevention for Utilities department and in High pressure chiller areas
·  Assist shift engineer as required and perform tasks as asked by the Powerhouse team/chief engineer
·  Perform housekeeping and maintain plant, equipment, tools, roof, storage clean and organized, mop floor, broom and de-dusting of equipment and related pipelines
·  Take roof round and check for any abnormalities,
·  Work alone as needed and passion for maintaining cleanliness
·  Understand high voltage switch gear system, its operation, maintenance

·  Understand PR process and execute PRs, manage invoices, understand various permit process and apply the knowledge
·  Maintain log books and equipment maintenance documentation
·  Respond to alarms in operating systems; perform patrols and verify operating equipment
·  Painting of pipes, floors and plant equipment as required
·  Perform calculations & prepare P&ID, reports on issues or deficiencies
·  Update and maintain parts inventories on regular basis
·  Ability to work rotating 8/12 hour shift as scheduled
·  Ability to pass TSSA Exams with a mark higher than 80%

Education and Experience:

·  Elect/Instr/Electronics/mech degree engineer with passion to grow as I class engineer
·  Sound computer/ presentation/documentation & communication skills
·  Ability to comprehend Site Utilities consumption pattern, establish trends, and explore conservation opportunities
·  Strong Mathematical ability & aptitude to apply engineering theory
·  Aptitude for troubleshooting and performing hands on mechanical/electrical maintenance
