Job overview

As a process optimization and tax technology analyst, you will be a key member of the Tax team on the tax transformation journey. This position plays a significant role in the journey of process optimization, automation and data analytics and will be a catalyst of technology initiatives to provide efficiencies to the tax department, creating value added solutions for the tax function.

Responsibilities

·  Evaluate tax routines by analyzing validation reports discrepancies and collaborate with the technical teams to resolve issues;
·  Propose process solutions and alternatives of optimization and/or automation;
·  Structured data generation (using data visualization techniques) enabling the tax team to be able to analyse it to discover trends, opportunities and also to support the team in tax audits;
·  Taking ownership of tasks and completing them with minimal direct supervision;
·  Contribute to the delivery of the tax technology projects, independently drive smaller projects or components of larger projects; support project prioritization discussions, timelines and trade-offs with business partners;
·  Support the development of new metrics and measures to quantify the value of different aspects of tax data.

Requirements & Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or Management Information Systems;
·  Problem solving and process definition hability;
·  Good communication and presentation skills;
·  Analytical mind;
·  Experience using business intelligence tool;
·  Math and logical skills (i.e statistics);
·  Hability to fast learning (technical and regarding new technologies);
·  English in advanced Level.
·  Tax Knowledge, familiarity with structured queries development (SQL) and basic knowledge regarding qlikview program will be a differential.
