About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Sanofi as an ITS Expert for Data and Enterprise Information Management (EIM). Working with a great team under supervision from the UK/IE and NOBA Lead you will a key contact for critical areas such as Digital, CRM, EIM and GSF. As data is our most critical asset in this digital age, it will build our foundation for success and our customers require the highest levels of data accuracy and treatment.

Key responsibilities

Sanofi needs someone to be accountable to ensure data us used appropriately, knowing what is available, what it means, where it came from and what it can be used for

·  Ensure end-to end service delivery on a daily basis and in close collaboration with the local business stakeholders, monitor and maximizing the value of the data set/sources locally, supporting run activities locally and global project implementation
·  Manage business demand having a deep understanding of local data sources and related business processes and local business context in order to manage the data and related data platforms
·  Prioritize programs / projects phase implementation and delivery through the development of business cases 
·  Contribute to the application life cycle management and rationalization
·  Acts as a counsellor/advisor all along the life cycle (plan, design, build, run) of solutions belonging to their domain of expertise
·  Acts as Technical and/or enforcement Authority for theirhe domain of expertise
·  Support Sanofi Business Communities for audits and inspections involving computerized systems
·  According to Service Manager’s request, provides inputs for selection purpose and/or performance monitoring concerning Statement of Work (SOW) with vendors and subcontracting partners
·  Provides and guarantees a broad and strategic vision and understanding of a given domain of expertise particularly by conducting regular studies and watch campaigns (technologies, regulatory, etc.)
·  Owns training in their specific domain
·  Proposes total cost of ownership optimizations for their expertise domain
·  Owns standards and practices related to their domain of expertise
·  Contributes actively to ITS operational excellence:
·  Facilitating risk management
·  Conducting/contributing to Problem root causes analysis management
·  Contributing to implementation of sustainable action plans

Accountability

·  For Local Vendors management 
·  Stakeholder Management Business/ITS alignment on Priorities
·  Act as Project Manager for global and local program implementation  
·  Lead and manage change management in their expert area (global and local programs)
·  Promote kill-legacy applications and drive local adoption of global solutions
·  Actively contribute to Cross Countries Expert Community sharing best practices / contribute to projects even outside their Country perimeter
·  Accountable for day-to-day operations: data ingestion, data quality, data integration, data dissemination, data investigation and Vendor onboarding
·  Manages data Change Request (CR) processes including revoking, implementing and testing data CR
·  Supports BOS-Data management and MCE Area to govern and manage the KPIs repository
·  Maintains the data access and usage guidelines
·  Implements and test new data feeds as part of data onboarding process
·  Provide visibility into information needs and acquired information assets to the country needs.

About You

To excel in this role, you will need to have: -

·  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
·  Experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst
·  Knowledge of business processes of domain in scope
·  Experience and ability to build effective working relationships and collaborating with business and all stakeholders
·  Excellent communication skills
·  Capability to leverage business processes through the adoption of technology
·  Experience with data mining, and analytics techniques (SQL)
