Job Summary :

The Global Head of Automation and Technology will focus on increasing efficiencies, reducing processing cycle times and errors in critical business processes. He/she will examine the most challenging business cases and develop solutions to solve them in conjunction with our customers. This role will also review different technologies and ensure optimized enablement to achieve cost efficiencies and service delivery performance.

The Global Head of Automation and Technology is a PACE2 Stream Lead for Automation and Technology. He/she will collaborate closely with other PACE2 Stream Lead to ensure that all projects are delivered in a timely manner applying Sanofi project management methodology and promoting best practices.

·  This position is part of the Global Process Excellence, Innovation and Technology team within the Sanofi Business Services (SBS) organization. The purpose of the role is to:
·  Develop and implement the strategies for automating and digitizing Core Model processes in Employee Experience (EE), Purchase to Pay (P2P), Customer Invoicing to Cash (CI2C) and Account to Report (A2R) across all regions to achieve world class processing.
·  Ensure right technologies are selected and are fit for purpose for decision making and ensure optimized enablement to achieve cost efficiencies and service delivery performance.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

This position is accountable for the delivery of significant number of projects globally.

The following key activities will be performed by this role:

·  To define automation strategies and be responsible for automation program deliverable that will increase process efficiencies and reduce process cycle times leading to lower processing costs.
·  To design and program manage the set-up of a Robotics CoE to service the needs of SBS customers.
·  To review all technologies in collaboration with ITS and ensure it is fit for SBS purpose e.g. BPM, digital collaboration platform, etc.
·  To work closely with PACE2 Stream Leads to ensure that automation and digitization activities deliver projects on time, to cost and quality.

Expected Skills

·  Development of automation and digital strategies and its implementation .
·  Some understanding of EE, P2P, Ci2C and A2R processes
·  Strong Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence experience.
·  Strong ability to review, recommend and implement technologies in close collaboration with ITS that meet the needs of SBS.
·  Strong Program Leaderships and Management skills including development of business cases, planning, execution and measuring ROI.
·  Effective collaboration skills with peers, stakeholders and partners across the organization.
·  High level of Interpersonal/ communication skills with an ability to communicate and present at different levels of the organization.
·  Strong delivery orientation - converting strategy and high level plans into action to realize sustainable business value.
·  Must be energetic to drive the program to ensure all projects are delivered on time, cost and quality.
·  Management of risks, actions, issues, dependencies (RAIDS) log at Program level.
·  Management of resources required for global implementation ensuring timely availability of resources that have right skills, experience and capability.
·  Strong analytical skills to resolve critical issues and ensure programs stay on track.
·  Change agent with strong problem-solving skills.
·  Strategic thinking and prioritizing capacity.
·  Transversal mindset and ability to work across processes, geographies, languages, cultures and business maturity levels.
·  Fluency in English mandatory.

Background and Experience

·  Ideally 12 to 15 years of Automation and Digital experience that has resulted in delivering significant savings.
·  A minimum of 3 years hands on experience of developing Bots and managing ITS work streams.
·  5 years' experience of business process analysis and automation.
·  Implementation of at least three different use cases for AI, and
·  Implementation as well of digital solutions and tools to enhance customer experience.
·  Experience of tools such as HTML, Javascripts, Tibco, Python scripting, etc.
·  7 years' experience of SDLC.
·  good skills of reviewing and shaping architecture design.
·  Significant experience of developing wireframes using AGILE and SCRUM methodologies.
·  Experience of integrating automation/ digital with SAP systems.
·  Working with key stakeholders across functions up to Executive level.
·  Must be certified in one of the RPA software, ideally Automation Anywhere.
·  Experience of working in a Global Business Services environment desirable.
