We are presently seeking a Environmental Controls Analyst:

Reporting to the Supervisor, Environmental Controls, the Analyst performs environment controls in controlled rooms.

Task Summary:

Perform controls in aseptic and clean rooms, including microbiological sampling of air, surfaces, water for injection, pure steam, nitrogen and compressed air, as well as the counting of non-viable particles. Proceed to dressing qualification and personnel sampling;
Ensure reconciliation/incubation steps and transfer of the samples in the laboratory;
Supervise microbiological growth assessments of aseptic filling with culture medium (Media Fill);
Participate in SOP review. Be a trainer on the specific tasks of the position;
Enter and check the results of environmental controls in the database;
Ensure the correct operation and cleaning of the equipment in the lab (Refrigerator, incubator). The incumbent must also follow biosafety rules.

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

College-level diploma (DEC) or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or Biology Sciences;
One (1) to two (2) years' experience in a similar position in a pharmaceutical laboratory or equivalent;
Good knowledge of the principles of microbiology;
Good knowledge of MS Word and Excel in a Windows environment;
Environmental control experience an asset;
Experience in microbiological analyzes an asset;
Independent and meticulous with attention to detail;
Interest to work on Evening Shifts.
