Job Purpose:
This person supports Sales Order Processing data migration, on the business side, for deployment of SAP solution in EMEA, in18 Legal Entities, 24 countries and 1.6 billion Sales coverage.

As a key member of the Regional Business Data Expert Team you will be responsible for performing specific tasks related to Sales Order Processing to facilitate smooth data migration from legacy systems such as JDE & OPEX. Working collaboratively with Alcon affiliates and EMEA Sales Order Processing Functional Business Team you will need to ensure that the data to be migrated is complete, accurate and cleansed. You will also be supporting the Alcon affiliates during the hypercare period post implementation.
This position is embedded in the OTI (Order to Invoice) team. This will also support the cross functional knowledge building.

Please note this is temporary position (one/two year contract)

Key Responsibilities:
Working alongside the Migration Deployment Team and collaborating with EMEA Alcon affiliates and OTI Functional Business Team during SAP deployment, you will be responsible for carrying out the following:

• Support and assist the Alcon affiliates with data cleansing of customer objects and prices ensuring that it is performed accurately.
• Work with Alcon affiliates to ensure that customer data and pricing to be migrated is captured and set up correctly.
• Provide business insight and information to technical teams for conversion from legacy systems for customers and other regionalized Sales Order Processing data objects.
• Verify and validate the data is fit for purpose and align this with internal and external stakeholders.
• Hands on support for sales order processing data objects during MOCK loads. Analysis and fixing of data migration issues.
• Ensure data readiness and verify quality throughout the data journey.
• Support Alcon affiliates with dual maintenance during the deployment.
• Act as a Single Point of Contact for assigned objects as part of the defect management process during the hypercare period post go live

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, or IT (Master degree preferred)
• 1 - 3 years of work experience at similar position
• Working experience or an internship in a multicultural company environment and / or preferably
• Availability & willingness to travel - position requires travelling of about 50 % of work time
• Fluent English, any other European language is an advantage
• Good IT skills – Very familiar with Excel (file comparison w. VLOOKUP), other data base software like MS Access, MS Query or Showcase - strong advantage and Power Point
• Solid analytical, Communication & Change management know how,
• Task/object managing and driving capabilities
