Job Description

The position can be based in Murcia, Valencia, Alicante or Castellón.
This position is created in order to address two main needs: 1) Assigning core sales accountabilities for “Advanced Technologies” products, including: Laser Equipment, Surgeon Guidance System (Shared with AM) and PC-IOL (Shared with AM). 2) Establishing responsibility for providing “post-clinical training” OR support for Laser Equipment, particularly when combined with Alcon Guidance System. The ideal candidate for this position should have proven agility for in depth learning of clinical & technical background with and proven negotiations skills. This position is new to the organization and will be incorporated into the Surgical Sales & Marketing franchise, reporting to the Advanced Technologies Manager Spain & Portugal who coordinates the team and ensures business cohesion in liaison with the National Sales Manager.

Main accountability (70%): Active promotion & Sales of advanced refractive technologies including: a) 40% - Alcon Lasers & relevant accessories & diagnostic & guidance devices (Alcon VERION, Alcon ORA) b) 30% - Alcon presbyopia correcting IOL Secondary Accountability (30%): OR Support to enhance adoption of advanced surgical treatment in corneal and intraocular refractive surgery.

Minimum requirements

Preferably University Degree in health Sciences (pharmacy, biology, optics or medicine) English Fluid – Written & Spoken Minimum of 2 years of Clinical & Sales experience with products falling within refractive lines
