Manages and directs development, implementation and maintenance of process methods, operations and equipment to achieve cost effectiveness and improved product quality.

Assist the Director or senior leadership in overall operations of assigned department(s). Contributes and achieves results through the management of subordinates (professional and support staff). Establishes and manages the department's budget and all assigned resources. Provides leadership to ensure department objectives and goals are achieved. Directs and implements tactical plans. Has full discretion on all employment decisions for department staff including hiring, training, performance management, and progressive disciplinary actions. Manages a large department or smaller but highly complex department. May lead employees or teams outside of the US and have departmental goals and objectives tied to NA or Global outcomes

Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.

The Opportunity:

·  Establishes and ensures implementation of strategies which align with the strategic direction and which direct resources toward maximizing customer service levels and minimizing cost. Establishes operational objectives and assignments and oversees the work of project leaders
·  Develops and implements vision and direction for the product supply goals focusing on systems performance, supply chain processes, and stakeholder relationships
·  Leads, develops and communicates with other functional areas to achieve globally efficient and definable processes for delivering product supply. Serves as key interface with external business and regulatory entities ensuring that supply chain systems are entirely consistent with regulatory and company policies and quality systems
·  Manage relationships and communication processes with various leadership staff, including GSC, Business Areas, and within RDC, to understand customer and business opportunities/needs/ constraints, negotiate effective solutions, and jointly implement associated improvement initiatives

Who you are:

·  Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or closely related scientific/technical discipline
·  8 years relevant experience
·  5 years progressive leadership experience in related industry.
·  Broad understanding of supply chain processes and strategy.
·  Knowledge of quality systems.
·  Strong interpersonal skills and an analytical, collaborative approach to problem solving

Preferred:

·  PMP certification
·  APICS certification
·  6 Sigma and Lean certifications
·  MBA
