Roche has an opportunity for an IT professional to join the IT Business Operations team in Tucson, AZ. You will be joining an experienced team of Consultants and Business Analysts that can help elevate your skills and professional development. You will be initially assigned to support projects and operational activities in the Roche DIA R&D Business Development & Lifecycles Domain, but you may be shifted to other Domains within IT as projects arise that could utilize your skillset.

As a Junior Consultant in Diagnostics R&D IT, you are responsible for working closely with the business and other IT teams to analyze, evaluate and develop solutions to meet the complex and dynamic needs of our continually evolving organization. Thanks to your broad knowledge of IT concepts, an understanding of modern project management methodologies and general business analysis skills, you are able to devise and deliver solutions that enable Roche to provide world-class products.

Your Responsibilities

· 
Participates in the creation and design of solutions, procedures and business processes that meet business, customer and technology requirements.

· 
Evaluate alternative informatics technologies where required and research industry best practices and emerging trends.

· 
Develop and manage the respective business critical knowledge within the said area of expertise.

· 
Translates moderately complex business requirements into detailed requirements.

· 
As part of a project team, works to optimize and implement processes where required, impacting global infrastructure and applications within the job scope.

· 
Ensures that existing governance is observed, indicates areas for improvement and proposes solutions and implementation guidance.

· 
Ensures alignment to defined technology roadmap.

· 
Develop and maintain working method documentation and best practice examples to support business stakeholders in development processes.

· 
Development of documentation relevant to quality as well as system documentation.

Your Profile

· 
You are self-directed and able to work across IT and business groups to prioritize and manage your time across a range of concurrent projects.

· 
You have some experience with modern project management methodologies.

· 
You have a broad knowledge of modern IT processes and available solutions.

· 
You have some experience with analyzing business needs and translating “IT speak”.

· 
You demonstrate a flexible approach and the ability to actively listen in order to meet customers' expectations.

· 
You have strong communication and documentation skills.

· 
Beginner Experience in working in a regulated environment and with Computer System Validation.

· 
You have an education background or related work experience linked to healthcare, diagnostics, and/or information technologies.

· 
You have a sense of responsibility in order to achieve the company's objectives, while respecting its vision and values.
