Job Purpose:

·  Manage a team of technical leads (mobile, frontend, backend, QA, devops) that will establish best practices and implementation guidelines to build the new Digital solutions.
·  Serve as a technology leader for your partners to help them make better decisions. We have a full variety of digital products (desktop, web, native and hybrid apps) that will challenge your technical skills. The development team is an international team spread globally and with 3rd parties included
·  The current stack is: React Native, NodeJS, Java, Python, PostgreSQL on AWS. Many other technologies are used in legacy systems like C or QT that you will need to transform if needed
·  You will also work with Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers, Sales and Medical teams to build the future of diabetes management systems

Key Accountabilities:

·  Deliver high level and quality technology solution in alignment with Digital Solutions organization strategy
·  Data drives our decision-making, help build decision leadership
·  Manage the technology team, internal and external providers
·  Establish and manage governance processes and KPIs
·  Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their business needs. Formulate and complete end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables and presentations
·  Enforce a data driven culture throughout the team and to lead data science projects that will have impact throughout the organization
·  Manage operational relationship with third party suppliers and consultants
·  Stay informed on technology trends and product roadmaps to make informed recommendations

Key skills and Experience:

Minimum qualifications:

·  MS degree Computer Science or related field.
·  7+ years relevant experience
·  2+ years relevant experience object-oriented programming
·  Experience in web and mobile technologies
·  Proficient in software development lifecycle, code management and release management in Agile environments
·  Independent judgment and decision-making ability
·  Good communication skills and excellent team collaboration
·  Strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive

Preferred qualifications:

·  MS in Computer Science or related field.
·  Experience in Amazon web services
·  Experience working with globally distributed teams and 3rd party relationships
·  Experience in Healthcare IT
