·  Follows POE parts from launch through PPAP/SOP including PPAP validation for on time PPAP

 

·  Creates part measurement plans with Project Engineer

 

·  Monitors and approves measurement plans, control plans, PFMEA, validation plans & acceptance reports

 

·  Reviews checking fixtures concepts. Validates checking fixtures R&Rs.

 

·  Analyses first off tool parts and assembly process

 

·  Facilitates supplier tuning activity with Engineering & Purchasing

 

·  Analyses supplier measurement reports and reports to program team

 

·  Monitors mountability validation, with support of Manufacturing, Engineering & Plant Quality

 

·  Monitors packaging validation with support of Supply Chain Engineer

 

·  Prepares incoming inspection boundary / limit samples with customer quality

 

·  Leads Run @ Rate at supplier facility with support of Purchasing

 

·  Approves Supplier PPAP’s and reports status to Purchasing and Program Manager

 

·  Supervises Supplier Ramp-up (firewall, launch readiness and safety stock)

 

·  Champions PPM reductions during development phase
·  Quality support for purchasing department
·  Performs Axis I quality audits at supplier location when required

Coordinate supplier cost recovery program
