about the role

- Provide presales design support for low to high level complexity solutions for both new and existing global customers requiring Orange Business Services and Solutions, managed networks services or IS contracts in support of sales. Maintain end-to-end solution integrity across the products and services sold to customer.

- Support sales in positioning billable consulting work to customers when such services will facilitate progression towards or closure of Orange Business Services and Solutions and/or IS contracts. Maintain a thorough understanding of the external tools that are required in conjunction with internal tools, systems and processes in order to develop quality / approved technical proposals to customers.

- Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of all Orange Business Services products, services and solutions sets Contribution to the Knowledge Management - Bid Management Repository Based on specific skills and project assignment work activity could be focused at the regional, territory or local level Secure as required additional resources to accommodate specific customer requirements in accordance with Orange Business Services established processes and policies.

- Ability to interface with customers as required in support of internal sales, operational personnel, or established third party relationships.

- Expected to act in a coaching role and provide support to less experiences team members.

- Financial - in order to encourage skill growth  for career development and support expansion / strengthening of teaming the presales consult can have a billable revenue target based on the level and area of subject matter expertise.

about you

·  Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, including architecture design/implementation experience with multiple compute, storage, networking and virtualization technologies.
·  Will hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher, and be fluent in spoken and written English (business level). Ability to work closely with customers and deal with them in a professional manner
·   Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to produce clear and detailed pre-sales and technical documentation.
·  Strong presentation skills, able to articulate both the technical and business value propositions of proposed solutions.
·  Previous experience with a Systems Integrator or Consulting organization would be preferred.
·  Although this is not a ‘hands on’ role, prior technical experience in the following products would be advantageous:

¿ Amazon Web Services (Associate or Professional)

¿ VMWare vSphere (preferably VCP certified)

¿ Cisco LAN & IP Routing (preferably CCNA certified)

¿ Microsoft Technologies (preferably MCSE certified)

¿ Enterprise Storage Technologies (experience with NetApp and/or EMC)

¿ Server Technologies (experience with HP, Dell, and/or Cisco UCS)
