Finance General Ledger Accountant

Main Tasks & Responsibilities
E2E General Ledger activities
Other accounting activities (AR, AP)
Accounting for both active and dormant subsidiaries
Master data maintenance (Chart of Accounts, cost center structure etc.)
Accruals and Prepayments calculation in co-operation with the controller organization
Fixed assets register handling
Transfer price model reconciliation
B/S and P&L Accounts Reconciliation
Intercompany monthly reconciliation
Assist during internal and external auditing
Close-the-books - monthly, quarterly and yearly for the European subsidiaries
HFM reporting package submission
Statutory accounts preparation
Tax and VAT calculations and reconciliations
Support the European controlling function with information, data and reports
Coordinate &liaise with stakeholders: SSC Offshore, local entities, central Finance

Background & Experience
Accounting or Economics degree
Minimum 3-year experience in GL Accounting
Experience in a Shared Service Center or BPO in GL area
Proficiency in SAP and Windows deck (Excel, Word)
Fluent Spoken and written English
Ability to work in diverse cultural environment: communication skills, flexible, open minded
