Visit our culture memo and long-term view to learn more about the unique Netflix culture and the opportunity to be part of our team.   We are seeking a Strategic Space planner reporting to the Director of Americas, Workplace Operations, to support the day-to-day space planning, long term strategy, and workplace occupancy and design needs of Netflix’s growing real estate portfolio in the Americas.  The focus of the Strategic Space Planner role will be in the occupancy planning of Netflix existing and planned corporate locations within the Americas region. The strategic space planner role will collaborate and communicate with other Netflix strategists, designers, and operations specialists worldwide.  The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail.    The candidate will be responsible for developing & maintaining workplace solutions in support of Netflix’s real estate and workplace operations. Strategies currently involve a portfolio of 1+ million SF (and growing).
·  Ability to benchmark scalable metrics across the portfolio
·  Ability to Identify and validate existing organizational requirements and workplace needs including utilization, growth forecasting, specialized requirements, head, and seat counts and employee requirements
·  Diagramming, data analysis and visualization, space programming and presentation preparation.  Build dynamic data models through a variety of programs to document workplace findings
·  Maintain space analysis and space utilization within the system of record.  Produce findings to ensure the accuracy of information and analytics as well company-wide seating is up-to-date
·  Manage spacewalks for validation and update of occupancy metrics
·  Create presentations for highly visible projects for a wide range audience (ie: senior leadership) containing but not limited to workplace standards, agile work environments, and complex phasing
·  Provide conceptual space plans and recommendations to stakeholders subsequently preparing block plans or stacking diagrams
·  Keep up to date with emerging trends and insights with regards to workplace strategy, design, and best practices
·  Other duties may be assigned
·  Travel 25%
