Our top level executives closely monitor membership growth as the key metric of business performance. The Memberships Analytics team provides the company with insights around what drives our past and current membership trends as well as an outlook on future membership growth. Internally, our analytical insights help inform growth strategy. Our membership forecast drives revenue expectations, a highly critical component that feed into corporate planning process for spending / resource allocation across content, marketing, and technology. Externally, our membership guidance is a key metric that informs Wall Street of our growth trajectory. Netflix is looking for the best and brightest candidates to use data and business insights to drive key strategic decisions. We believe that we derive a significant competitive advantage from the highly analytical approach we take to managing the company. Senior management rely heavily on the Memberships Analytics team to develop a data-driven perspective on the company's growth, and the outcomes of our analysis play a critical role in how we plan for and execute on the company's business objectives.
·  Under manager’s guidance, produce strategic value-added analyses to understand the drivers behind membership growth
·  Support membership forecasting across various regions leveraging bottom-up and top-down approaches
·  Working cross-functionally within the organization (content, payments, marketing, product, consumer insights, etc.) to:
-Integrate broad and complex business inputs into near term and long term membership forecast
-Analyze and report business impact of key events to derive actionable insights and feedback to the collaborative stakeholders
-Assess membership impact from business decisions such as pricing, content, product, etc. to facilitate planning and operational decisions
·  Research, track and generate global insights into the membership growth landscape
·  A successful candidate should have the ability to combine comprehensive data analytics with sound business intuition and judgement, and effectively communicate analytical insights to stakeholders. Given the questions asked of our team are often urgent in nature and have an immediate impact on how the business makes decisions, the individual coming into this role must be able to deliver accurate results promptly. She/He/They must thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, focus on generating results and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.
