Administrative Assistant, Product Engineering

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support the engineering leaders in four Product Engineering teams in Los Gatos (PES, ET, CPP, MCE). Product Edge Systems (PES) is responsible for the first layer of services that enable signup, discovery, and playback on Netflix devices. Encoding Technologies (ET) develops state of the art video processing and encoding algorithms for Netflix’s streaming content. Creative Production & Promotion Engineering (CPP Eng) develops the back-end systems that enable effective production and distribution of creatives, supporting the launch and promotion of our content via Netflix product and marketing. Media Cloud Engineering (MCE) develops the large scale media processing solutions for Netflix’s streaming content. You will be ambitious, have bias to action, quick-thinking, flexible, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail. This is a demanding and dynamic position that requires someone who is able to exercise good judgment and initiative.
·  Handle complex calendars for multiple engineering leaders including booking and confirming meetings
·  Schedule meetings, internally and externally
·  Communicate with key partners, both internally and externally
·  Book, manage, and oversee logistics for leadership offsites, team events, and industry events
·  Coordinate with facilities for team/cubicle moves and new hire setup
·  Handle membership for team email groups
·  Coordinate travel itineraries, both domestically and internationally
