Expert in phys.-chem. properties - preformulation - solubility (all genders) - limited for 3 years

Your tasks:

You will support R&D activities by screening for physico-chemical characteristics, performing solubility measurements for new chemical entity (NCE) optimization using automated robotic systems. You will also provide pre-formulation support of NCEs in the pipeline and use biopharmaceutical approaches in preclinical phase of research to generate and interpret relevant dissolution based data for absorption predictions in vivo. The tasks involve frequent interactions with colleagues involved in solid-state characterization and cross-functional activities. In this position you will co-ordinate, undertake and leverage various phys.-chem. screening activities as well as project based tasks in the lab. You will be responsible for training of team in new technologies and work flows and scientific background. You will be scouting, developing and implementing innovative technological solutions for improved pharmaceutical research. You will contribute to the scientific community through publications and presentations.

 

Your qualifications:

•Master degree or PhD in Chemistry, Pharmacy or comparable qualification

•Scientific curiosity and innovative approach with good knowledge of Pharma R & D

•In depth practical and theoretical knowledge in analytical Chemistry, especially liquid chromatography and physical chemistry

•Good communication and collaborative skills including social skills to contribute effectively in both functional and cross functional team settings

•Good knowledge of German and English in business environment
