Environmental Technician 1

Your Role:

 

Performs dynamic and static environmental monitoring of the cleanrooms in the manufacturing facility.  Maintains equipment essential for environmental monitoring. Ensures that environmental monitoring materials inventory follows the FIFO system and that all materials used for sampling are within manufacturer’s expiration· Responsible for personnel monitoring and gown qualifications. Rotational training may include microbiological, biological and/or chemical evaluation of final product, intermediate products and raw materials, as well as, inspection and release of quarantined raw materials. Comply with cGMP documentation, cGMP Practices and Regulations and regulation, Policies and Regulations, and perform other duties as instructed.

In this role you must have clear communication skills; both verbally and in writing to the various groups within EMD and follow safety procedures, demonstrate a high level of initiative and motivation, follow company health, safety and environmental policies as well as adhere to company quality procedures and requirements

 

Who You Are:

 

Basic Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline OR Associates Degree in Scientific discipline plus a minimum of 2 years’ experience in GMP, Aseptic or Environmental Monitoring
·  1+ year experience in basic Lab techniques

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
·  2+ years’ experience with handling chemicals, experience utilizing PPE in a chemical handling environment
