Business Development BioProcessing Intern
Internship Objective:
The Business Development (BD) Intern actively partners with Product Management, R&D, the Intelligence team, and business leaders to advance the BD function in support of the BioProcessing inorganic growth strategy. Through a highly collaborative approach, the BD Intern helps manage the Target / Opportunity pipeline, reports progress against KPIs, and assesses new scouting areas. The deliverables produced by the BD Intern advises and helps business leaders have a timely and well-informed foundation to guide our inorganic approach across our portfolio.
Ideal academic profile, i.e. degrees, major(s) / focus areas:
Masters or MBA degree with in biological sciences or chemistry, biochemical engineering, chemical engineering or computer science
Skills, experience or capabilities required for the internship:
Less than 2 years of experience in pharma / biotech, or software for life sciences
Functionally: Software /automation, product management, business development, strategy, or market/competitive intelligence
High intellectual curiosity with a bias for action
Critical thinker able to tackle complex business challenges
Excellent communications skills (oral and written)
Project management (basic)
Proficient in Office 365
Strong data analysis, e.g. advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau proficiency
